D23 Expo

D23 is takes place every other year and is probably one of the things I look most forward to every time it happens. It's exactly what you'd expect from the official Disney Fan Club - three days full packed of nothing but Disney... and that Disney umbrella gets bigger and bigger every year. Between Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar this event gives you a chance to see a sneak peek of some of the biggest films of the next few years.

Movies aren't the only thing going at this con as Disney Parks and Resorts and Disney Imagineering always make a huge impression with expo floor pavilions highlighting the newest rides and features at theme parks across the world. Another personal highlight has always been the Disney on Broadway event, which looks to continue in 2017 with two shows by Disney Legend, Alan Menken.
